Biostatistics, bioinformatics, statistical methods for biomarker discovery 

Dr. Rocke is interested in developing and applying statistical methods to a wide variety of biological, medical and engineering problems. His research group works on methods for bioinformatics and data analysis of RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), gene expression arrays, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics and other high-throughput biological assays. His recent work has broad applications, including cancer, diabetes, dermatology, radiation biology, neurology, pharmacology and rare diseases, with methodological developments in gene expression analysis, proteomics and genetic analysis.
