Ferrara Lab Paper and Student Win Awards

Katherine Ferrara is the senior author of a paper that has won the Jorge Heller JCR Outstanding Paper Award from the Controlled Release Society. 

The paper is, “Multimodal imaging enables early detection and characterization of changes in tumor permeability of brain metastases,” Frits Thorsen, University of Bergen, Norway. Brett Fite, Lisa M. Another Ferrara Lab member, Andrew Wong, received the Nadine Barrie Smith Award from the International Society of Therapeutic Ultrasound in April for his presentation in Las Vegas.
