Inaugural UC Davis Event Highlights Biomaterials Research
Nearly 100 registrants participated in the first-ever Northern California Biomaterials Day Jan. 11, 2019.
Hosted by the UC Davis Biomedical Engineering Department and Society for Biomaterials and organized by members of the UC Davis BMEGG, the event at Walter A. Buehler Alumni Center featured numerous student presenters, a research-poster contest, networking and renowned speakers including:
- Dr. David Grainger, University of Utah
- Dr. Sarah Heilshorn, Stanford University
- Dr. Scott Kennedy, Verily Life Sciences (Alphabet Inc.)
- Dr. Niren Murthy, UC Berkeley.
